  Today I took my very sick chihuahua to the vet. The medications needed to help her needed to be compounded as my dog weighs only (4) pounds. My vet called Rivergate Pharmacy at 5:00 PM to see if they could get it done before they closed at 6:00 PM. There was only (1) pharmacist there but she said she would get it done and call me on my cell when the medications were ready. I was called at 6:30 PM and told to come to the pharmacy. The staff stayed until well after 7:00 PM to make sure I could get the medications. There aren't many pharmacists that know how to compound medications. This is the only one in this area that can. I still get a bit emotional this evening thinking about the staff being concerned about my little Tia and willing to stay there to help her. I know I will do everything I can do to make sure small, independently owned pharmacies stay in business. Thank you Rivergate! I am grateful and touched by you all!

  My comment has been deleted multiple times but I will continue to post daily so that others are aware of the treatment I received. Terrible pharmacist. Refused to fill a valid prescription despite my being able to produce proper ID. Said she had to "confirm with my supervising provider". I have an active and valid DEA number and my physician protocol is readily available online if she had taken the three minutes out of her busy day to check that. DO NOT FILL YOUR RX HERE unless you don't really need your medications. Complaint made to corporate but still no call back yet from them.
